A Demain - Nord

As autumn slowly settles, it’s time to prepare for the colder and darker season.
Turn the heaters on, put a comfy sweater, light some candles, brew yourself a cup of tea
and make your home a bit more cosy and inviting. A Demain seems to have launched
its latest collection - a high quality, locally made and super soft line of beddings conceived
to keep you warm during fresh nights - just right on time.

Once again, I had the pleasure to design and imagined this new range of products
with the French brand. For this very first chapter, we took you up North,
where it all started, in the workshops of the Vanderschooten family near Armentières.
We teamed up with local blogger and creative Bonjour Tangerine to conceive
this series of bed linen inspired by the north of France, and tried to express
her deep attachment to the region that saw her grow.

The Cassel print was inspired by the mysterious

centuries old symbols adorning the facades of

traditional brick homes from the Cassel region,

local flora and folkloric embroidery.

The airy composition of the print brings modernity

and refinement to this handcrafted looking pattern.

This revisited classic twists the traditional tile

and offers a 100% local version inspired by

the brick walls of the region.

This set was inspired by the soft golden bells of dried hops,

a local plant often found hanging from the beams of the estaminets,

the popular small cafés typical of the region.

How nice is this deep blue set? This colour, slightly tinged

with green, subtly evokes the shady sides of the

Monts de Flandres when the first rays strike the ridges.

A soothing and sleep-friendly color to help you fall asleep.

A warm and natural neutral completes the range

of our "unis" this season. This fluffy color evokes

the clouds of mist that envelop the Monts de Flandres

in the early morning. Softness and sobriety are the

key words of this very casual set.
